VILLA DESCRIPTION/INFORMATION/EXTRAS
'Dolphin Bay View' makes the ideal base to come back to after your days out and about. You will find the villa a comfortable shelter from the heat of the Turkish summer months. Because of it's elevated position, cooling winds often fan the villa. Air conditioning in both bedrooms and fans are also provided in most rooms.
We have made every effort to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. A basic welcome pack is provided free. Please advise us of any special request. You will also find a 6 pack of lager and a bottle of white wine which if used, please replace for the benefit perhaps of our next guests.
As a unique extra, and perhaps for peace of mind during your stay, we provide you with the loan of a Turkcell 'Pay As You Go' mobile phone. A list of useful numbers is also provided including that of our managing agent. She speaks good English but, please contact her only with any problem which might affect the villa. e.g.mains water,electric faults etc.
The water is solar heated, and can get very hot, so please take care. Drinking water is also provided, and is hand pumped from a 19 litre bottle, which can easily be replaced from the local shop for only 6 TL. A telephone number will be provided for this. The gas bottle is new, so will not run out during your stay.
Please note that whilst the mobile phone only works in Turkey, you can make and receive international calls which allows you to stay in touch with family and friends if need be. The mobile will have at least 100 credits. If you use it please top it up to 100 credits and above by buying a card from the local supermarket Carrefour which is just a 10 minute scenic car/taxi/bus drive away . The minimum price for a card (100 credits) is 20 TRL (less than £10.00).
Security lighting will light your way to the Villa front door if you arrive late at night. Enter into the hallway which has access to shower bathroom/toilet. Steps lead down to an open plan kitchen diner and lounge which leads outside onto a terrace, a favourite place for having meals. Steps up from hallway to bedrooms and roof terrace. The main double bedroom has access to it's own private balcony. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNSUPERVISED ON THE BEDROOM BALCONY. The second bedroom has bunk beds. A short flight of stairs lead to a small landing and has access to a small front terrace. A further short flight of stairs lead to the roof terrace. With exception of doors leading out onto the roof terrace and small front terrace, all doors and windows throughout the villa have insect screens fitted.
Please note that no smoking is allowed anywhere inside the villa but, ash trays are provided for use on the terraces and balcony only.
Access the studio via outside steps down to it's own private entrance from the garden terrace. The studio hallway provides access to the bathroom. Twin beds, tallboy, fridge and electric kettle etc. are provided. We apologise that due to the number of stairways throughout the villa, it is unsuitable for people in wheelchairs. Because of the villa's fabulous scenic location, immediate road access down to the villa is very good, but it is quite steep.
All bed linen including covers and towels are provided throughout the villa, but please bring your own beach towels.
We have provided large canvas waterproof pillows, sun lounger flatbeds, bean bags, terrace and patio tables and chairs for your relaxation. There is also a small BBQ on the garden terrace.
Just a 2 minute walk up from the villa is the lovely communal swimming pool. It has a large terrace from where there are great sea and coastal views too.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VILLA FORMS PART OF A RESIDENTIAL AND HOLIDAY HOME COMPLEX. PLEASE RESPECT NEIGHBOURS PRIVACY. LOUD MUSIC AND BOISTEROUS CONDUCT IS NOT PERMITTED.
Our agent , Clover Management Services, will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to and from the villa. The driver will provide you with villa keys and the mobile telephone. Clover can also provide you with car hire (recommended) but, perhaps you might want to do without the car and just phone for taxis to take you out and about to places instead?
Weekly prices for villa rental do not include airport transfers and car hire. These are extra costs that can be pre-paid or, paid in Turkish Lira immediately upon arrival. You will also have to pay £10 each on your arrival at the airport for your visa. 10 euros is also accepted.
