A wonderful book written and illustrated for children involving the comical adventures of the Hedgepig family.   Children (and adults too!!) will thoroughly enjoy reading the stories and will love the characters found in this beautiful hardback story book.   The stories are very educating too because it introduces nature, animals and birds to children during their early learning years.

Hedgepig children, Spike and Libby are cared for by their grandparents.  They all live at 'Nobbly Cottage' which stands in a clearing deep inside Hedgepig Wood. They have many animal and bird friends which live in the wood including, Bert-Ram the sheep.  He is rugby mad and every day practises kicking his rugby ball through rugby goal posts.  Another dear friend is Toots, the owl who, isn't so wise really because, he is always perched on the goal posts and has to dodge out of the way of the ball which speeds him and disappears into the wood.   Spike and Libby chase after the ball and wherever they find it, an adventure always starts for them all!
